国高班高质量课外活动，助力世纪学子全面发展，脱颖而出

众所周知，高质量的课外活动和竞赛经历有助于申请者在大学申请过程中，从学术水平相当的申请者中脱颖而出。成都温江二十一世纪学校国高班根据北京总校29年的课外活动组织经验和活动资源，为学生提供多样化的活动内容和活动组织平台，让孩子们在日常的课外活动中全方位得到锻炼，从而提升他们的领导力、创造力、团队协作能力，培养学生的批判性思维和问题解决能力。

It is well known that high-quality extracurricular activities and competition experiences help applicants stand out from academically comparable applicants in the college application process. Based on the 29 years of extracurricular activity organization experience and activity resources of Beijing Head School, Chengdu Wenjiang 21st Century School International Department provides students with a variety of activity contents and organization platforms, so that children can have an access to a full range of daily extracurricular activities, which helps to improve their leadership, creativity, teamwork skills, and develop students' critical thinking and problem-solving capacity.

Students of the International Department can choose to participate in extracurricular activities and competitions that are of interest to themselves and suitable for their future further studies, according to their own interests and the professional advice of their teachers. Students continue to put their enthusiasm and energy into the activities, and fully exercise their comprehensive ability in all aspects. What is even more impressive is that students conduct self-reflection and activity reflection after organizing or participating in activities, so as to prepare themselves for another round of competitions in the future. The development and organization of the activities provide experience support, and make long-term solid preparations for growing into an innovative talent with excellent comprehensive quality.

目前，国高班课外活动可分为校内活动、校外活动和国际竞赛三大类别：

Currently, the extracurricular activities specifically catering to students in the International Department of our school can be categorized into three types, including on-campus, off-campus and international competitions.

选修课程

除了以上提及的20多门社团选修课外，国高班学生创办了校社团联合会，并成功策划、组织、举办校汉服节、校跳蚤市场、校图书捐赠等多个大型活动。

In addition to the more than 20 club elective courses mentioned above, the students of the International Department have established a school club association, and have successfully planned, organized and held many large-scale activities such as the school Hanfu Festival, the school flea market, and the school book donation.

在校外，国高班联合彩虹公益社、成都市残联开展了多项公益助学和志愿者活动，增强了学生的公民意识。为了帮助学生进行专业和职业探索，国高班每月开展一次校外研学实践活动，目前已涉及传媒、金融、计算机科技、非遗保护等多个领域。国高班学生还多次去到北京，深入到总校及美国费尔蒙特高中课堂，感受北京的班集体文化，参与北京的校园活动，与总校学子相互学习和交流。

Outside the school, the International  Department, together with the Rainbow Public Welfare Society and the Chengdu Disabled Persons' Federation, carried out a number of public welfare programs and volunteer activities to enhance students' civic awareness. In order to help students to explore their majors and careers, the International Department also conducts off-campus research and practice activities once a month, which currently involves domains related to media, finance, computer technology, intangible cultural heritage protection and other aspects. National high school students also went to Beijing many times, exploring deep the classroom of Fairmont High School in the United States, experienced the collective culture of Beijing, participated in campus activities in Beijing, and learned and communicated with the students of the main school.

此外，我校国高班全方位引入北京总校丰富的国际竞赛资源。我校学生参与国际竞赛呈现出三大优势特点：赛事影响力大；竞赛类别丰富（满足不同学生需求）；竞赛课程辅导体系完善（助力学生在竞赛中脱颖而出）。

In addition, the International Department of our school has introduced the abundant international competition resources from the Beijing Head School in an all-round way. Our students’ participation in international competitions presents three major advantages: the competition has a great influence; the competition categories are rich (to meet the needs of different students); the competition course guidance system is perfect (to help students stand out in the competition).
